Our Short Story
We started running with our dad and uncle at the local polo fields when we were kids as a bit of fun. We thought completing a whole loop was amazing (2.2km) and that was us done for days. Zoom forward to our late 20's until we found that true running passion. Replacing weekends binge drinking and late nights with early nights, Parkruns and long runs.
Our journey started as just a parkrun in 2014 which turned into a passion that would change our lives in many ways for the better. in 2015 we joined AFD one of the top running clubs in the UK and learnt from some of the best coaches and runners in the country over the years. Improving a lot but eventually we hit plateaus as all runners do. Lockdown came and this was the changing point for our training. We started to test and develop our own methods of what works and what doesn't for us. After years of testing the 'Q' way we have ran PB's every year at almost every distance since. As well as helping family and friends also achieve things they didn't think they could achieve. It's not all about the PB's though as the main thing we found is that joy in running where it doesn't become a chore and something that is a much needed habit daily. If this sounds like something you would like also please get in touch.
Personalised Training Plans
Our principles
We believe a plan should be adapted weekly based on the previous week. So we offer Tailored weekly training plans designed to meet your specific running goals.
Passionate Coaching
Our passion for running will be obvious in the plans we provide you as we will take as much care with it as our own. It's important that it is also made enjoyable for you also.
Strength & Conditioning
It took us a fair few years before we actually looked at improving our running form and technique. Something we wish we had done from the start as it will improve your performance and prevent injuries.
Pacing advice
The art of pacing is never easy to get perfect but we have learnt that sometimes slower is actually faster. But you also need to run fast at the right effort levels also. We believe we have worked out a formula that works.
Improve Your Technique
Often neglected but one of the most important areas for being a resilient and stronger runner who runs niggle and injury free for many years.
